Hello
As you know we have recently made our finial payment to our deposit. Booking a cruise early has many advantages. One of the biggist advantages is getting first choice of cabin assigments. Jen and Rita (travel agent) have booked us in one of the best locations on the ship. We are booked in what is called the hump or the bulge. This is the area of the ship that bulges on the side. These cabins are a little larger and also has a less obstructed view. The location of these cabins are also perfect, they are located directly in front of the hallway to the main elevators. These are the elevators that will take us to all 14 floors. Just 2 floors up and these elevators will leave us off in front of the windjammer and the main pool area. Just 3 floors down and these elevators will leave us off in the heart of the ship The centrum, The start of the promanade and also the doors to the main dinning room. We should have an easy time making our way around the ship from this location. The Liberty of the seas has the updated beds and bedding. Jen and I had them on our cruise in April and they were wonderful. We are also excited that for first time ever we have all booked at the same time and was able to secure our cabins in a row.
Our cabin assigments
Cabin # 8342 Goodman
Cabin # 8340 Dusenbury
Cabin # 8338 Martin
Cabin # 8336 Kucjak
Here is a picture of what our cabin will look like. It is basicaly the same as the mariner of the sea room. Notice the new bedding.
Here is the floor plan of the cabin also

Jen and I also looked into the option of booking the Presidential suite. This suite has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms a dinning space and a living room. It also has 425 sqft balcony complete with its own hot tub. The cost of this suite would only have been a little more than we are paying now. The bad news is that this suite is booked all the way though 2008. This is seriously something we need to look into in the future. We will all have our own room for privacy but yet will have so many other amenities. Sorry... Not to rub it in but here are some pictures of it....
And while we are still on the subject of cabin selection. If you love Icecream as much as Jen then this is the cabin for you. It is the Been and Jerry Sweet, it is located directly above the Ben and Jerry Icecream shop. Each guest that stays in this cabin gets free icecream for the week. Here is the letter that is in the cabin with the vouchers and also pictures of this one of a kind cabin
